Weight Loss Surgery

We are looking for people to participate in this study who are either thinking about, or already have had, weight loss surgery. We are interested in your food preferences and taste sensitivity as it is possible this may affect general eating behaviour. It is hoped this research may contribute towards helping future weight-loss attempts.

If you decide to take part you will complete an online questionnaire that will take about 15 minutes. It is important that you answer the questions as honestly and accurately as you can. You will be asked questions on your relationship with food, your food preferences and weight loss surgery.

Taking part in this research is voluntary and you are free to withdraw from the study without a need to provide an explanation. The data you give will be anonymous and will be held securely and comply with all aspects of the Data Protection Act (1998). There will be no means for the data to be linked back to any individual either by the researchers or Wlsinfo.

The study is being run by the University of Surrey as part of its postgraduate masters programme and has received a favourable ethical opinion from the University of Surrey Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences Ethics Committee.

If you would like to take part please tick the box below and the page will redirect you into the questionnaire. Thank you very much for your time and your help is greatly appreciated.
